Virtual UMSL College of Education Teach Residency Info Night

Join us to learn more about an innovative program, Teach Residency. This Alternative Certification program is designed for people who want to teach and become a certified teacher at the same time.

Teach Residency Information Night Program Requirements:
      • Teacher candidates must have earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
      • In addition, candidates must secure and maintain a full-time teaching position for two years in any accredited public, private or charter school in the St. Louis region.
      • UMSL will provide the necessary coursework to earn teacher certification within the two years. Program Benefits
